Sometimes things get worse before they get better. It is all part of the healing.

I have a client who read a book on positive thinking and called to tell me. "This is the answer to everything," she said. I sat quiet for a bit, for I could sense what was coming to her. "I will have no more trouble in my life if I follow this rule of positivity," she affirmed to me.
I cautiously explained that positive thinking is wonderful, however, we store our pain cellularly and the practice of positive thinking is a strong trigger to release those stored negative layers that have built up in a person's life. She said she understood, but I am not sure she realized the eruptions that she herself was initiating, for she had many unresolved issues in her life that we had been slowly working on.
Months passed and this client called me again and sadly told me her life had fallen apart - her marriage, her relationship with her step-children and her job. I reminded her that when we are weighed down by pain and negativity we cannot rise into the light. We must be cleansed. Then and only then are we free to heal and lead a positive, peaceful life. It was time for my client to heal these relationships and rebuild her life. Sometimes things must get worse before they can get better.
It is the same for our world. We have built up such layers of negativity and hate through our collective behaviors. These are now being released in fierce eruptions, so that the world may heal and move to a higher vibration and a new paradigm of peace.
These releases are triggered by both external and internal events. Solar flares, earthquakes, astrological events, and viruses are some of the external triggers The worst of human nature displayed by polarized individuals and groups are the internal trigger.
It seems very dark in the world right now. But I do see the light leaking back, though we have more to go through. Walk tall, stay strong and the light will come to us all.
